Savannah College of Art and Design student Karina Nersesova, second-place winner of the Sustainable Fellwood logo contest with SCAD professor Scott Boylston and first-place winner Yuan Yao, also a SCAD student, are acknowledged at an award presentation Jan. 23 at Melaver Inc. offices. The first-place prize was a new laptop computer donated by Seimitsu Business Technology Solutions. The second-place prize was a $250 VISA gift card, and honorable mention was a $100 VISA gift card. Judges were looking for a logo that graphically conveys and illustrates an understood message and vision of a sustainable community.
