Low-Moderate income Chatham County residents
Subcontractors on site continue to employ local residents of Chatham County. As of December '08
and January '09 monthly reporting:
• A total of 137 local residents (45%)
worked on Phase I.

Construction Apprentice Participants
CAP* students hired to-date:
• Several Sustainable Fellwood Subcontractors continue to provide employment opportunities and training to CAP program participants.
• 11 CAP students have been hired to work & develop their skills on Phase I.

New Hires
• In December/January, a total of 67 individuals were hired to work on
Phase I, resulting in many persons becoming gainfully employed during a down economy.
• There have been numerous ‘success’ stories of persons being employed on site who are financially contributing to the local Savannah economy, while providing for the needs of their families.

Badging Process
(All workers on site are required to be photographed and badged)
• As of March 10, 2009 - the development has badged 359 workers.
• Estimated Average number of workers on-site daily: 80
